The phantom is an MRI accessory used to evaluate the performance of an MRI machine.

The ACR-MRI phantom is an 8” (203.2mm) diameter cylinder, 6.82” (173.40mm) tall with
various fixtures inside including a dinosaur, drilled plate grid, membrane stack, ramp,
resolution block, and S-N chamber.
For whole body MRI machines.
The level bar is 7.00” (177.80mm) length, .375” (9.53mm) width, .375” (9.53mm) height.
Inside the resolution block is ~1 ml hydrogenated vegetable oil. (brand name – Crisco)
The plate has nine holes, each hole is 1.5mm. Holes are spaced 60mm center to center.
The measured volume of one, version 2 phantom is 3627 ml.
The volumes could be +/- 10 ml, maybe more, but likely less.
The salt solution inside the phantom contains <11 grams nickel chloride hexahydrate and
17 grams of sodium chloride in 3.8 liters of water.

This unit may break open if subjected to extremes of temperature.
Keep temperature between 60-80°F (15-27°C).
